During the launch Mr Howard announced there would be a tax rebate for education expenses, beginning with kindergarten through to the end of secondary school, covering fees, excursions, text books, tools and computer equipment. The rebate would begin in the year before the children start formal education. Parents and grand parents will be able to establish accounts for children under the age of 18.
